This mod adds 6 new ammo types (and 3 old ones) for shotguns of Combat Extended.
Supports 12 gauge, 20 gauge, 23x75mmR, .410 (short barrel and long), and generic ammo mode.

Dragon's Breath

An incendiary round that showers targets in burning magnesium shards. While it isn't enough for humans to spontanuosly combust, it will start terrain fires and cause painful burns to those with insufficient heat armor. Best fired from high-quality shotguns with tight chokes at short range.
Muzzle Bang

A pyrotechnic charge to blind your enemies with. Produces a bright flash and a loud bang that stuns and disorients targets. The affected pawns will close and squint their eyes (which you can see visually), which heavily impacts their aim. Not recomended for use in ammunition depots. Do not fire point-blank into a wall.
Breaching

A frangible doorkicker slug. One 12 gauge shell will knock out a wooden door in one shot. Will shatter into many fragments upon hitting flesh. Performs poorly against living targets in modern armor.
Dart

A sabot version of the slug. Higher sharp penetration, lower blunt penetration. Stabilised dart will hit more accurately, which is especially noticeable on poor quality prehistorical shotguns.
This shell gives a significant range increase when [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2721572827]Dynamic Range[/url] is installed, turning your shotgun into a poor man's rifle.
Birdshot

The people's favorite. Has more total damage than buckshot, way more pellets and much worse penetration. Higher spread multiplier than buckshot, this ammo type will rely heavily on the quaility of your shotgun. Good for breaking shieldbelts and beaning rats.
Frag

This shell type is quite uncommon, as it is terribly overengineered. It is very powerful, but inefficient in terms of resource usage when compared to making grenade launcher ammo. High damage and a few small frags per explosion, this is your fatcat-deluxe version of slug shot.
Rubber buckshot and the .410 revival

Rubber buckshot containts 4 beanbag pellets to shoot out of Taurus Judge from [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1582570547]CE Guns[/url]. Cheap, compact, inaccurate and barely does any damage. Q: Do raiders spawn with this ammo?
A: Yes, but with reduced chances. The weirder the ammo types spawn less often.
Q: Can any modded shotgun use these?
A: If they used the same ammo set as vanilla shotguns, yes.
Q: There's too many bloat ammo types that I don't like, what to do?
A: Use the Cherrypicker mod.
Q: A particular ammo is useless, redundant or overpowered.
A: Leave your proposals in the comment section.
Q: Is this compatible with CE?
A: Yes, and it cannot function without CE.
Q: Vanilla version?
A: A large portion of code relies on CE's systems, so this mod wouldn't make much sense without those. You're free to create a vanilla version based on this mod, though.
