Arriving just in time for the final stages of the Alaskan Campaign, it saw its first major action during the Final Battle of Anchorage, where its heavier armour and 77mm T12 gun proved decisive against entrenched Japanese positions. From there, the Custer I became a mainstay of U.S. armoured forces across the Pacific, fighting through New Guinea, the Dutch East Indies, the Solomons, and later in the fierce land campaign for Java. Its service continued even into the protracted China campaign, with a few early models still in operation during the 1949 invasion of Japan — however a rare sight by then. What made the Custer I remarkable was its balance. It offered a strong mix of mobility, firepower, and durability, reaching 50 km/h while shrugging off fire from most low- and mid-calibre anti-tank weapons. Its 77mm T12 cannon was accurate and powerful enough to destroy most Japanese tanks at range, though it struggled against the nation’s growing number of heavy armour projects, which demanded flanking tactics or teamwork to overcome. Maintenance crews appreciated its simple mechanical layout and sturdy suspension, making it ideal for long island campaigns far from major supply lines. Though, the tank was not without flaws. The cost of its armour-piercing ammunition — a specially hardened, high-velocity Tungsten rounds — was a consistent logistical headache, often forcing crews to ration shells in extended operations. Additionally, its transmission was prone to overheating in tropical environments, reducing reliability during sustained advances. By 1947, the Custer I was gradually phased out in favour of the improved Custer II and the M147 Crossroad with their highly improved anti tank guns, marking the end of its front-line service. It focuses on the countries around the pacific ocean, like the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Russia, China and a lot more. All the the project vehicles are fictional in nature and have their own story, lore and design. The Projects creations have a tendency for high fidelity, decoration and multi crew operation.
