KTAZ- 166
History
The KTAZ 166 was a robust and simple 6x6 heavy transport truck developed in the late 1950s and introduced into Soviet service in 1961. The KTAZ was a workhorse vehicle designed for the often unforgiving conditions of Siberia, Central Asia, and the Pacific theater. Though nominally rated at 5 tons off-road, in practice the KTAZ could carry far more on hard terrain, often hauling up to 7 tons when overburdened by necessity.
Built with a massive diesel engine and a full manual transmission, the KTAZ 166 was simple to maintain in the field but was flawed for its enormous fuel consumption. This made them logistically expensive but they were still operationally indispensable.
The KTAZ's real strength lay in its extreme reliability. The truck performed equally well in the cold mud of Sakhalin, the humid jungle terrain of Vietnam, and the steep mountain roads of Mongolia. Soviet doctrine appreciated its flexibility — KTAZs could be used for hauling ammunition, troops, aircraft engines, bridge components, or simply used as multi-role flatbed haulers. Many were also adapted as fueler trucks, mobile workshops, or command post platforms by satellite nations unable to field more specialized vehicles.

Startup Procedure

[*] Enable the Primer Lever (Or Fuel Pump, or something similar to that, its either a switch or a button) about 8 to 10 times. (the ENABLE part only counts once the primer was turned ON, if you do it way too many times it floods the engine, and you need to reset by turning off the ignition)

About the Project
The Pacific Front is a Alternate History Project about the time from 1940s through to the 70s in a time of turmoil, war and desperation. It focuses on the countries around the pacific ocean, like the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Russia, China and a lot more. All the the project vehicles are fictional in nature and have their own story, lore and design. The Projects creations have a tendency for high fidelity, decoration and multi crew operation.
