What this mod does:

Mental State – Alcohol Intoxication
At a certain blood alcohol level (adjustable in the settings), a pawn loses control. The intoxication threshold is calculated individually for each pawn and depends on:

the higher the tolerance, the harder it is to get drunk

Body type
thin pawns get drunk faster than heavy ones
[*]
Body size
the bigger the race’s body size, the harder it is to intoxicate
[*]
Age
both very young and elderly pawns are more susceptible

Satiety
a hungry pawn gets drunk faster

Once intoxicated, pawns start behaving differently:

actively socializing with everyone around
[*]
sometimes dancing
if you own the Ideology DLC
[*]
playing musical instruments
if you own the Royalty DLC
[*]
if already drunk, they crave even more alcohol
[*]
they flirt more often
if the flirt succeeds, they may start making out with the partner, and possibly go to bed together afterwards

Intoxication also blurs pawns’ social boundaries:
🔵 an unattractive pawn looks a bit prettier
🔵 feelings of hatred soften slightly
🔵 someone “too old” for romance suddenly doesn’t seem that old
🔵 pawns already in relationships may more easily take interest in others
🔵 otherwise incompatible pawns become a bit more compatible
All these factors can be adjusted in the settings.
Parties
Pawns at parties no longer wander aimlessly around. They now actively socialize and can dance (Ideology) and play musical instruments (Royalty). And of course, their favorite party activity is drinking. The chance to drink depends on:

a pawn with “Chemical Fascination” will be among the first to grab a bottle

Alcohol tolerance
if a pawn likes drinking – they like drinking

Number of drinkers
the more pawns currently drinking at the party, the higher the chance others will join in
[*]
Level of intoxication
the drunker they already are, the more they want another round

It’s now easier to make friends with other factions – guests and traders can join your parties and socialize with colonists. If you don’t want to share your booze with outsiders, you can disable this in the settings. You can also change the default party duration (vanilla 2–6 hours) up to 24 hours and throw a true rave where pawns collapse from drinking.
You can also manually start a party anytime at a party spot if conditions allow.
Speakers and lightball added to the game with Ideology now work during parties.
Vomiting
Pawns won’t throw up on the dining room carpet anymore. If indoors, they’ll go outside to do it, preferably in secluded spots like bushes or trees – because nobody wants an audience at that moment. If someone witnesses the act, the vomiting pawn gets a mood penalty.
Vomiting also lowers blood alcohol level (configurable in the settings).
