Planet layer visualizer is a mod I created mainly for development purposes. It allows you to quickly and easily see the stats of a planet layer displayed visually for the world.
Activated by an icon in the lower right corner while on the world view.
Features
- Multiple filters including the ability to filter by temperature, elevation, rainfall, biome score, and movement difficulty.
- As the name implies, this works for multiple planet layers. Surface layer, orbit, various moons and whatever else as well.
- Filters are stored in XML allowing you to easily edit filter settings to preferred outcome.
- Export data about selected layer into a CSV format.
Q&A
- There's at least 2 mods that do this, why another?
They didn't offer what I wanted and they didn't work on other planet layers. Variety! - Can you add a new feature?
Let me know what you want. Adding additional features yourself is pretty easy as well with some programming knowledge. - I found a bug!
please provide me a Hugs Log so I can fix the issue. - Does it work with x?
I've tested it with every biome mod I could find and none of them broke this at least. Try it with other mods and let me know if it breaks anything. Confirmed mods: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3498477059 - What biome is the orbit layer?
It's Extreme Desert. - What is the giant sphere next to the planet?
It's a moon. - The colors you used for the visual layers are ugly!
You're ugly!
