Liquify 3: Mining Edition

version 3

Converts drill output directly into fluids via an inline pipe liquifier, no longer uses water/steam compared to version 2 which you can read below:

version 2

-

> 1 item + x amount of steam = x amount of liquid item, which in turn can be converted to 1 item + x amount of water

-

comes pre-packaged with the following: (activates only of the mod is present*)

  • base mod: coal, stone, iron, copper & uranium
  • krastorio 2: raw rare minerals, raw imersite, wood & creep
  • mining drones: mining drone

the default ratio is that 1 item needs 10 liquid, so a fluid wagon will hold 2.5k items
for balancing reasons, a few items have a different ratio:

  • raw imersite: 25
  • wood: 50
  • creep: 100
  • mining drone: 250

the reasoning behind this is to not make a liquid "to valuable to void" when you need to break a pipe of some sort containing some of it
(mining drones however were balanced to that exact number since each depot should/could hold 100 workers == one full 25k tank)

modding support: (data-final-fixes.lua)
liquify2.create(data.raw["item"]["iron-gear-wheel"], {r=158, g=162, b=148, 20)
(item in question, color of the liquid & the amount of steam/water required/returned)

credits:
Bottled Fluids for the textures
Automatic Train Painter for the colors
Liquify Raw Materials for the concept

ps:
now that you have steam at your mining outposts, why not power it entirely with turbines?
