🌱 Growth Tier System Explained

In vanilla RimWorld, when a child reaches a Growth Moment, they gain some Passions and Traits —
but the amount and variety are fixed and not customizable.

This mod lets you take full control of those parameters.
Each growth tier has its own settings, defined as follows:

new GrowthUtility.GrowthTier(index, XPRequired, new ByteRange(PassionGainsMin, PassionGainsMax), PassionChoices, TraitGains, TraitChoices)

In short, each line defines one “growth stage.”
As children grow older, they get more options and more meaningful choices.

📊 Default Parameters Overview

Tier 0:
XP Required: 0
→ Gains 1 passion and 1 trait, from 10 passions and 4 traits to choose from.

Tier 1:
XP Required: 30
→ Gains 2 passions and 1 trait, from 10 passions and 5 traits to choose from.

Tier 2:
XP Required: 55
→ Gains 2 passions and 1 trait, from 10 passions and 6 traits to choose from.

Tier 3:
XP Required: 80
→ Gains 3 passions and 2 traits, from 10 passions and 7 traits to choose from.

Tier 4:
XP Required: 100
→ Gains 3 passions and 2 traits, from 10 passions and 8 traits to choose from.

Tier 5:
XP Required: 120
→ Gains 4 passions and 2 traits, from 10 passions and 9 traits to choose from.

Tier 6:
XP Required: 135
→ Gains 4 passions and 3 traits, from 10 passions and 10 traits to choose from.

Tier 7:
XP Required: 150
→ Gains 5 passions and 3 traits, from 10 passions and 11 traits to choose from.

Tier 8:
XP Required: 162
→ Gains 5 passions and 3 traits, from 10 passions and 12 traits to choose from.

💡 Explanation

XP Required
→ The total learning experience needed to reach this tier.
Children gain XP through learning and play.

Passion Gains
→ How many new passions (skill interests) the child will actually gain.

Passion Choices
→ How many passion options appear in the growth letter — you choose from them.

Trait Gains
→ How many new traits the child will gain (e.g., Industrious, Lazy, Nervous).

Trait Choices
→ How many traits appear as options in the growth letter — you can pick from these.

🛠 Player Customization

In the Mod Settings, you can freely tweak all these numbers:
Want kids to grow faster? → Lower the XP requirements.
Want them to feel more “unique”? → Increase the number of trait options.
Want to reduce the chaos of too many passions? → Limit how many are actually gained.
Adjusting is super easy — just click the buttons

⚠️ Changes take effect only after reloading or restarting your save.
