This mod simply adds a ranged attack to the conversion staff and renames it to "magic staff". It has the same stats as a recurve bow.
The conversion staff now has an additional cost of 20 Jade, so its more expensive of a ranged weapon than the bow, but it doesn't require research to unlock.
UPDATE: Added a ranged attack to the Eltex Staff too, with improved range, damage and armor penetration, for late game mages.
Why?
This is just a quick hackjob to have a magic staff in the game. I couldn't find any good-looking mod with magic staves that don't require Medieval Overhaul. Now I can make a witch or mage colony without having the wizards using assault rifles.
