No Longer Human-Kaekrix Race Pack
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They have no families. No loves. No lives besides the battle they were made for and the battle they will crave until their dying breaths. Hearing their enemies scream, bloodied and beaten before their onslaught, produces in their corrupted minds the closest thing to true joy they will ever feel.
No Longer Human-Kaekrix is the second installment of No Longer Human: an expansive, ambitious mod series dedicated to making rimworlds much more biologically diverse, filling them with creatures that have been altered so extremely that whatever resemblance they have to the baseline human form is superficial at best.
This mod introduces Kaekrix-pattern clones to the galactic rim. Kaekrices are the most versatile and easy to produce of all clone patterns. The first batch of the creatures were made by renowned geneticist Björn of Kaekar in the early 4000's. He, like many geneticists in the field of cloning, wanted the perfect soldier. A creature that can be given any weapon, any master, any battle plan, and go on to complete whatever bloody deeds need done with excellence. If one died, it wouldn't matter. The poor folks that just so happened to spark your ire would still have to deal with 20 more on the battlefield, and, if all else fails, you still have hundreds on the way.
Kaekrices come out of the vats fully-grown, knowing nothing but their name and how to shed blood. One could field armies of them in a matter of hours if they had enough resources at their disposal. While there are clone patterns with much more physical strength and mental capability, not one genetic engineer could beat Björn's genius when it came to sheer speed and economy, even a millennia after his demise. Kaekrix DNA samples are among the cheapest on the galactic market, and the pattern is shockingly resilient. They can be produced using some of the most run-down setups with little to no defects.
Of course, versatility comes at a price. Many Kaekrices throughout the pattern's history have entered a life of brutal slavery as soon as they left the vat. Others still were born in the clutches of militants, terrorist organizations, and pirate syndicates. And most on the rim belong to the latter category.

This game has a noticeable lack of technicolor space chicks, especially Amazonian warrior mommy space chicks with insectoid features. And I'm the exact flavor of unhinged to want that in RimWorld, so I made it. You're welcome, everybody.
Jokes aside, I didn't really like the Highmates. I don't even really like the "sexy aliens" trope. But the Highmates were really just blue people, they didn't even have the tentacles. And trust me, I'm a big tentacle guy. So I went the complete opposite direction here-instead of blue sex objects, I basically turned the Twi'leks into bugs and threw some Uruk-Hai in there just for the sake of it. Yes, they are an all-female race, but that's only because they're all sterile, asexual clones whose sole purpose is to kill.
This sort of ties in with the fact that races like Twi'leks, Togrutas, Orions, Asari, etc., were literally everywhere in their respective universes. Kaekrices are too, because they're basically the 1911 of clone armies. Anyone with enough money probably has a few as servants or soldiers, either because they bought 'em or made 'em themselves. This is also why they have a pretty high chance of spawning as pirates when compared to other modded xenotypes-and because you'll see them so often, I made a very extensive name list for them. I've learned from Tynan's sins against men and God, and, unlike him, will not make anyone question whether they're going insane because every member of X species has the same 5 possible names.
I know the Latin doesn't make sense. Big 40k guy here, it's sort of a reference to the Latin-y stuff in that universe being lovable garbled nonsense. "Kaekrix" wouldn't be out of place in 40k.
This does require the Vanilla Expanded Framework, because I've never seen a line of C# in my life.
These aren't aliens, either. My mods don't use HAR and never will, I don't like HAR. The framework seems complicated, and most mods that require it are either soulless and uncreative or weird neckbeard waifus. A Kaekrix is a horribly mutated, sterilized human being that is cloned on a mass scale. Not an alien race.
And...there is still much more to come with this series. Hope you like this one!
UPDATE I: Fixed spawn rate so the Kaekrices don't completely override Baseliners on larger mod setups with lots of races in the pirate gang.
UPDATE II: Fixed a bug where Grendel skin colors could spawn on Kaekrix pawns when using both mods. And yes, I had to reupload this mod to update this one little thing.
Please ignore the "bioluminescent jade" hair, that's not even from this mod, and I don't know why the game's assigning hair on a Kaekrix...?
The "bioluminescent" hair is for the really bright Lobsryk quills and nothing else. I'm really sorry for the lack of good pictures, but I'm too swamped with other stuff to take the time to make stuff like 7-10 epic screenshots a second time for only 1 of my mods, I'd rather spend the little modding time I have making something with actual substance.
EDIT: Finally got around to adding screenshots...even though I didn't really mean to. This wasn't staged, you're seeing a particularly devastating pirate raid on my actual playthrough colony. Since this is from an actual playthrough, multiple xenos in the screenshots aren't even from my mods, they're from either VRE, Det's, Rimsenal, or Rotfish. Please check those out if you haven't already, I love all of them.
