This microcontroller simply sends an on signal from ~5:30PM to ~8:30AM (when it just starts to become dark, or just becomes bright out again. Useful for DRLs (daytime running lights) or automatic cabin lights.
The only required input is a clock. The microcontroller is a 2x1 config.
