Muriden - From Muris (Latin for Mouse).
A xenotype mod aiming to create an experience with both xenotypes, equipment, factions, and more.
I like the ratkin mods and the theme of it, but i've been a bit burned by how hefty HAR and the various race mods can get on a heavily modded setup. While i've seen a attempt or two at a general biotech conversion they didn't go too far enough. Thus i decided to make a mod that really tried to explore the theme of the cute mouse-eared girls, while going deeper into advantages and disadvantages of the xenotype, and allowing them to participate in more of the base game's content.

Equipment:

Other changes:
Dirtmole - Patched to be a subtype of Muriden, gaining more of the traits of the Muriden while still retaining the benefits of the dirtmole. (didn't change the name to try and limit compatibility issues). (Optional, off by default).
Feral Muriden - A more fuzzy varient who is more wild in their appearance and fighting style.
A Medieval-Tier faction called the Muriden Kingdom (currently able to spawn Muriden and Dirtmoles)
A new Longsword.
Special Skills attached to these weapons.
Muriden are sprinkled into various vanilla factions if you have this setting enabled (off by default).
Hostile faction
New Xenotypes - Paused for now until i'm satisfied with the 5 we're already adding.
Equipment for higher tech levels
VFE Medieval and Medieval Overhaul integration
Special Muriden Warcasket content.
I'm learning modding this stuff as I go so for now this mod will be mostly XML changes, but maybe someday i'll actually read up on the C# modding side if i run into something i can't achieve with XML changes.
I will continue to try and make improvements on the textures as well.
Should generally be compatible with most things by default. If you're running another mod that touches dirtmole just leave the dirtmole patch in the settings off. The faction patch should be compatible with just about everything but i left it off by default anyways.
Additional functionality if Mono Weapons Pack is used to prevent brawlers from getting upset using the gunlance. This also has a few cosmetic changes like it being categorized as a melee weapon, and it showing the weapon instead of a fist (it works either way).
If you have Better Gene Inheritence installed all Muriden xenotypes gain the Primary Genes ensuring their xenotype is passed on more favorably (as they're all female).
Anomily - Muriden creepjoiners if enabled.
