Breaching and Hacking Tools
With the wonderful Odyssey expansion I find myself spending a lot of time hacking and smashing my way through ancient complexes. Sometimes the slow pace of exploration is a good thing, other times me and all but one of my pawns standing around waiting at 3x speed, so I have added 5 new items which hurry the process along.
Hacking Tools
[b] handheld hacking assistant[/b]
-Utility item that increases hacking stealth and speed.
-Can be obtained from quests
-I am not a good artist so I just reused the orbital beam targeter image. I will gladly credit anyone who upgrades the image for me
[b]Hacking Implant[/b]
-Brain implant that increases hacking speed and stealth
-Unlocked with Bionic Replacement research. Honestly it would make better sense to be locked behind Neural Computation but I don't want to make Royalty required just for that.

Breaching Tools
[b]Breaching Charge[/b]
-A small, wall mountable building that explodes like an ancient mining charge when destroyed. Upon taking any damage it will start to spark before exploding, with a rather short wick time. It has very low health so powerful weapons will make it explode instantly.
-Built at machining table
-This is a building, so you take the minified version and install it like you would a wall lamp on the wall you want destroyed then shoot it. While not necessary, mods like Pick Up and Haul make these much more useful as you can have your pawn carry them in their inventory.
-Unlocked with IED research.
[b]-NEW: Installed breaching charges have a gizmo to remotely detonate them[/b]
[b]Breaching Shotgun[/b]
-Literally a chain shotgun but slightly more expensive and rather than doing Bullet damage type it deals Demolish damage, formally unique to the breach axe. Demolish is a child of Blunt damage whereas Bullet is a child of Sharp so this actually kind of makes these a little overpowered given that a centipede has 72% sharp armour and only 22% blunt armour.
[b]Breaching Rounds[/b]
-Unique bullet weapon trait, like incendiary rounds but changes damage type to Demolish
[b]NEW: Thermal Lance[/b]
-Ultratech weapon from the Empire used by their stellar knights to cut through thick walls of enemy battleships and Deserter bunkers.
-Attacks slow like a zeushammer while dealing less damage than a plasmasword, however the point can ignite enemies like a plasmasword, has high armor penetration, and it does new UltraDemolish damage, which is a Sharp based damage that has an even higher multiplier against buildings and impassable objects than breach axes do.
-Requires Royalty
[b]Compatibility[/b]
This mod does not strictly require Odyssey even though it was built for it. If you are a cheap cartilaginous fish belonging to the family Rajidae in the superorder Batoidea and don't have Odyssey and would like to get rid of the red errors simply open BreachingTools.xml in your favorite plaintext editor Ctrl+F "MiningBomb" and replace it with "Bomb"
