Description:

Have you ever felt helpless when an amazing pawn appears among your visitors? Either you watch them leave, or you arrest and recruit them at the cost of angering their faction.

This mod provides a more peaceful solution:
simply pay enough silver, and you can directly recruit any no-hostile NPC — even quest-related pawns — into your colony by RIGHT CLICKING them!

Cost Calculation:

The cost calculation used by this mod is relatively complex. Here is a brief explanation:

  • If the recruit comes from a non-major faction, such as ancients or refugees, they can be recruited at no cost.
  • Part of the main cost comes from the pawn’s faction role (PawnKind). The higher the recruit’s position, the higher the cost, usually ranging from 500 to 3000 silver. Being allied with their faction can significantly reduce this part of the cost.
  • Another part of the main cost comes from the “settling-in fee.” This part is calculated based on the recruit’s traits, skills, current role, your wealth, and other factors. It usually ranges from 500 to 4000 silver, following a distribution similar to a sharper normal distribution. Having relatives of the recruit in your colony can significantly reduce the settling-in fee.
  • Excellent pawns, as well as weaker pawns with a high original faction status, will usually require a higher settling-in fee.
  • Generally speaking, weak pawns cost around 1200 silver, average pawns around 2000 silver, good pawns around 3000 silver, and top-tier pawns around 4000 to 5000 silver.
  • Specific multiplier factors can be adjusted in the mod settings.
