About the MSV Raptor
In 2013, the U.S. Coast Guard was in dire need of a compact, reliable, and fast boat for small crews. It was the well-known shipbuilding company MSV that raised the flag on the challenge and manufactured the MSV Raptor, the state-of-the-art model of a high-speed boat specially engineered for two-person crew.
Among the advanced systems installed are a digital map for navigation, a precise engine temperature gauge, a real-time fuel indicator, and a sophisticated radar that can also identify objects and vessels in harsh weather conditions.
The Raptor also had a comfortable Crew Quarters.
The MSV Raptor, with its ergonomic design, excellent steering, and advanced technology, quickly became one of the fleet's most reliable fast-response vessels
