Reese's Avali Race 2

With all kinds of new star-bound expansions thanks to RimWorld Odyssey, and me wanting a better avali experience to go with it, I set out to make a small vanilla-friendly content expansion based on the avali with my previous work as a basis. Avali originate as a species from a Starbound mod created by RyuujinZERO, and maintained popularity afterwards from the furry fandom taking an interest. If this is your first introduction to avali, I suggest not being put off because you're out of the loop, since "the loop" isn't very complicated anyway! It's cool. In lore, avali are intelligent alien pack hunters originating from the frozen planet of Avalon with all sorts of wacky sci-fi technology that's reflected in this mod. They have an affinity for art, bleed purple, lay eggs, and are adapted for flight in low gravity, among other things. The playstyle of avali in this particular mod is best described as technology dependent orbital melee fighters and laborers, making them a perfect member of any gravship crew, but not completely useless on the ground. Features - Avali xenotype, - Various befitting genes, - Avali tribes faction, - Vibroblade weapons and unique variant, - Hammock bed that cures heatstroke, - Moderately sized Ideology style, - A couple hair styles for avali Included is a mod setting to give avali more realistic temperature tolerance, in case you want such a peculiar challenge or are doing a world with appropriately lowered temperatures.. Also, compatibility with Simple Blinking Known Issues With the "realistic temperature tolerance" setting toggled on, any avali saved to the world may die of heatstroke off-screen, including faction leaders which send a notification when they die. This setting is not recommended for normal play anyways. Questions Q: How do I obtain a vibroblade? A: They cannot be crafted, instead you must trade for them, or snatch it off of someone dead or alive, just like Royalty ultratech melee. Q: Does this mod require Biotech? A: Yeah. Q: Does this mod require Odyssey? A: Nah. Q: How would you compare this to other avali mods for RimWorld? A: I tried to only add a modest amount of content to where it can be used in any playthrough as a background element, since that's how I like my mods served. Though I admit I could definitely add more without ruining that if I tried. Q: CE? A: Not that I know of. Q: Should I play Starbound? A: I tried it, but I wouldn't recommend it in the slightest. I'd sooner mod everything I like about Starbound into RimWorld than actually play Starbound again. Q: Is there a way to play on Avalon, the planet? A: This mod is pretty good for that!
