Description
When you are out there committing war crimes in Rimworld, have you ever noticed the inequality in milking? Why are the bulls always slaughtered just because they can't produce milk? Why are cows getting milked every day yet their calves can't even get a sip? Don't you humans lactate as well? Outrageous!
This mod puts an end to that. Every specie, every gender are now equally milkable.
What do you mean birds and reptiles don't have nipples? I am milking my roomba and tarantula at home
This mod is inspired by Milkable Colonists. While Mlie is still actively maintaining the mod, updating the mod for every requested race is no easy work. No need to mention Mlie is maintaining thousands of mods. This mod is compatible with (almost) all modded HAR races and animals, with Biotech (lactating, breastfeed) integration.

Changes to Vanilla Mechanics

Lactating hediff being stackable which milk production rate and hunger rate scales exponentially.

Milkable animals in vanilla now do not produce milk without lactating. Giving birth will give them the lactating hediff and then will be milkable. You may mimic vanilla by enabling adult animal always lactate option in the mod settings.

Lactating no longer reduces chances to get pregnant.

Lactating no longer directly subtracts food. Instead, it increases the hunger rate. Your nuclear stomach and other modded implants should be able to do something about it right?

If tagging milk product is enabled, milk from different pawns/races cannot be stacked.

Non-humanlike pawns may also breastfeed

Compatibility

Mods that do not use the vanilla milking mechanics to produce milk will remain unaffected by this mod.

Q&A
Q:Why not equally eggable/woolable? You f**king mammalian supremacist!
A:It should be fairly straight forward to convert this mod for eggables/woolables. I want to get this mod to a stable state before considering other possibilities.
Q:F*** equality, I just want to tweak my animals.
A:Sure, leave everything for humanlikes as default. You should be getting vanilla-like behavior except the animals needs to be lactating. Give them "Lucilactin" or just bear with it.
Q:Performance?
A:More efficient than vanilla. If you are having serious stutters, report it as a bug.
Q:Safe to add/remove Midgame?
A: Yes. The comps added by this mod should be automatically removed at next load. You may need to manually remove "lactating" hediffs as needed.
Q:How is this different from Milkable Colonists?
A: This mod requires Biotech DLC. No drug addiction, so no need for new drug filter, no ideology limitations. Affects animals. Supports all species and easy configuration using settings menu with hot reloads. Biotech integration. More
compatible with other milking mods. Stackable hediff, faster lactation with a cost. etc.
Q:Can I milk a duck?
A:Yes.
Q:WTF?
A:Yes.
