Highmate NearSighted gene ][ xenotype redalgamored
This xml patch adds only one gene.
It's designed to work with my Highmate rework, check it out here:

I've made it as an option for those who don't want to limit themselves to only short-range weapons.
Also you can just use it separately if you want.
You'll get +2 bonus metabolism.
