Mod Introduction · This mod adds one building and two items, allowing you to extract, create, and implant traits. Now you have full control over trait distribution. Main Features · Trait Workbench – Craft empty trait capsules (100 Hope Meat) and use them to produce trait capsules. · Empty Trait Capsule – Crafted using human meat, it can extract traits from colonists. · Trait Capsule – Directly craft any trait capsule. · Implant Traits – Right-click a trait capsule on a colonist to implant the trait. Usage Process Build the Trait Workbench → Craft empty trait capsules → Choose: extract a colonist’s trait or directly craft a trait capsule → Use the trait capsule to implant a trait. Please refer to the cover image and subsequent pictures for the detailed process. Current Version Notes · Fully implemented features: · Trait extraction system · Trait implantation system · Trait capsule crafting Known Notes (to be optimized in future versions): · Trait Selection Interface – Uses a hover menu for extraction and crafting. The menu closes if the mouse moves away, so operate carefully to avoid wasting materials. · Empty Capsule Handling – If you accidentally obtain empty trait capsules, they have no practical use. · Capsule Stacking – Capsules with different traits cannot stack. This is an intended design feature. · Multiple Capsule Selection – When multiple trait capsules are present, only the small label below indicates the stored trait. Compatibility · RimWorld 1.6 – Older versions (does anyone still play them?) will not be supported. · Requires the Harmony mod (automatically handled as a dependency). · Referenced game source code; compatible with most mods. · Theoretically safe to add mid-save. Future Plans · More trait expansions (maybe). Issue Reporting If you encounter any problems, please send the error log. This mod is still being optimized, and suggestions are welcome!
