454ss Challenge 6 - RiPpEr253 - Urocyon 0-4-0 Fi
A submission for 454ss' build challenge 6!
Inspired by the Andrew Barclay 0-4-0 fireless locomotive, I was curious as to the effectiveness of the fireless concept in the sandbox of Stormworks!
Ultimately nothing more than a proof of concept, you may find it interesting to try out a fireless!
Historically used in industries and locations where the danger/inconvenience of a coal fire or diesel fumes were unwelcome such as food and munitions production factories, the fireless locomotive is filled with superheated steam and then able to independantly operate in a switcher/shunter environment for many hours (although this one lasts far less time than that) and with less training than a traditional steam locomotive!
Built using the simplified Locomotive MC from 454ss to the RCU Standard!

This locomotive is a straightforward switcher/shunter and therefore has quite simple controls, XML editing has been used to deliver it pre-filled with steam for your convenience, featuring an on board radio point switcher and radio, almost all your switching/shunting needs are covered!
If you find yourself running out of steam, simply pump more steam into the provided receptacle from any suitable source, such as the Urocyon steam generator railcar!
