A small vanilla patch that allows you to see the theoretical time required for plants to reach full maturity. Includes two built-in display modes.
Q: Data source and calculation method? A: Based on internal game code. It represents the ideal growth time where the plant is affected only by fertility sensitivity and grows uninterrupted. The actual time will take longer due to various factors (temperature, light, environment). The display is hidden when the crop is fully grown or if the growth rate drops to 0.
Q: Performance impact? A: Negligible. I specifically used a throttling mechanism to limit the update frequency; it only updates once every 1000 ticks.
