Corpse Cuisine - Auto eat corpses
Auto Corpse Eating
Make your wild colonies actually eat like animals without micromanaging every meal.
Description
Pawns will now automatically eat corpses as soon as they’re hungry, treating them as allowed food instead of waiting until they’re extremely malnourished. No more manually forcing your pawns to eat corpses one by one.
Features

Pawns consider nearby corpses valid food when hungry

Prevents pawns from starving just because corpses are “last resort”

Fully integrated with base game food selection logic

No extra settings needed, works out of the box, but you can change mod setting to your liking

Ideal for:

Custom xenotypes built around corpse consumption

Wild/feral-themed colonies

Cannibal colonies (when I fix the bug with the mood debuff)
Known Issues

Colonists still get the "Ate corpse" mood debuff when they eat raw animal corpses.

Colonists still get the "Ate human corpse" mood debuff when they eat raw human corpses, even if they have the Cannibal trait or a cannibal-friendly Ideology.

Royal pawns don’t count corpses as royal-acceptable food when the "Royal pawns will eat corpses when hungry" option is enabled.

You can’t manually force royal pawns to eat corpses even when they are not hungry.
These issues are planned to be resolved in a future update. The mod was primarily made with the idea of using custom xenotypes with genes that override or ignore the "ate corpse" debuffs.
Compatibility

Safe to add to existing saves.

Safe to remove from existing saves (no permanent data added).

Mod uses vanilla food selection logic, so conflicts should be minimal.
