Trats Plus What this mod does: [b]- Adds about 15 new backstories and some 50 traits to the pool.[/b] The traits vary a lot. From rarer stuff with a lot of impact to a pawn, to smaller traits boosting or nerfing a stat. Jobs, skills, stats, thoughts and mood are all changed in different ways. I also focus a a lot on making the social aspects intertwine better with the traits, so people with similar interests or jobs are more positive towards each other and moody people have a harder time making friends. Not very social. [b]- Botanist.[/b] Plants, medicine and intellectual. Especially plants. Incapable of fighting, mining and crafting. [b]- Combat medic.[/b] Great asset to a colony. Very fast tending speed to go with being able to get around the battlefield in a rush. [b]- Developer.[/b] Intellectual and crafting. Boost to research speed. [b]- Florist.[/b] Plants. Preferably nice looking plants. [b]- Factotum.[/b] Easy-going laborer. Not very interested in much except their own job at the moment. [b]- Riflesmith.[/b] Guns and crafting. Especially crafting guns. Not much else. [b]- Mason.[/b] Mining and arts. Preferably at the same time. [b]- Fighter.[/b] Deadly fighter. Deal more and take less damage. [b]- Junk artist.[/b] Makes art out of junk. And is good at it. [b]- Exile.[/b] Kicked out from the last colony. A bit scarred from it and won't risk it again. [b]- Cage fighter.[/b] Deadly fighter in close combat. Blunt damage is the speciality. [b]- Wild child.[/b] Lived with the animals. Grown up in terms of years, but will never not be a child. Traits added [b]- Agile fighter.[/b] Skilled melee fighter, specialized in swift fighting. Incapable of shooting. [b]- All out of ♥♥♥♥♥.[/b] Incapable of pretty much anything except fighting, mining and dumb labor. High pain threshold and low mental break threshold. Basically a numb person. [b]- Astronomer.[/b] Specialized in all things spacy. [b]- Authoritarian.[/b] A person of natural authority. Great to have in a colony (especially if you're playing with 'Ideology'), except they won't do manual labor. [b]- Backpacker.[/b] Likes things that has to do with hiking and being outdoors (packing stuff, hunting, plants, animals). Boost to min+max temperatures. [b]- Behemoth.[/b] Huge (and very strong!), but pretty slow in two different ways. [b]- Botanist.[/b] Specialized in all things growing. [b]- Braggart.[/b] A bit obnoxious, but bonus to trading. [b]- Cautious.[/b] Better safe than sorry. Does everything a little slower, but mitigates some risks here and there because of it. [b]- Cheerful.[/b] A bucket full of joy. Mood boosts and has a tendency to rub off on people. Not great for guarding prisoners or slaves. [b]- Clever.[/b] Lots of small boost to pretty much everything. Escpecially to intellectual and medical stuff. [b]- Combat medic.[/b] Used to the dire views of battlefield and war. Experienced, but weighed down. [b]- Complainer.[/b] Just a regular party pooper. [b]- Daredevil.[/b] Definition of the expression 'head on'. A positive person, but takes extra damage from everything. [b]- Defensive fighter.[/b] Lesser skilled fighter who takes less damage. [b]- Determined.[/b] Strong characters. Won't fold easily. [b]- Developer.[/b] Upwards and onwards! Specialized in making progress. [b]- Devout (Ideology needed).[/b] Non-violent person of the faith. [b]- Direct hitter[/b] A little bit used to fighting. [b]- Doer[/b] Does what needs to be done. [b]- Doomed.[/b] These characters are doomed. And they're looking it. [b]- Early riser.[/b] A breath of fresh air. Wakes up early every day, always with a smile on their faces. [b]- Edgy.[/b] Easily annoyed, not a people person. Higher risk of social fighting. Very effective when guarding slaves. [b]- Exile.[/b] It's hard finding a place to call home on the Rim. Please let them stay? [b]- Flincher.[/b] Lousy fighter. A good change they'll get hit. [b]- Fighter.[/b] Good to have around when the going gets rough. [b]- Florist.[/b] Flowers. Trees. Flowers! [b]- Freerunner.[/b] Fast and agile. But not very strong. [b]- Go-getter.[/b] Wants it. Gets it. [b]- Healthy routines.[/b] Physically fit. Small boosts to all things health. [b]- Indirect hitter[/b] A little lost on the battlefield. [b]- Junk artist[/b] It may not always look fancy - but making something out of nothing really is a skill. [b]- Likes fall.[/b] Likes fall and is happy that time of year. In spring, not so much. Especially a workbench where weapons are made. [b]- Ruthless.[/b] An unfriendly, violent person. Gets their point across, though. [b]- Sloppy.[/b] Works fast. Not very well. [b]- Small talker.[/b] Pretty much the opposite of an 'Edgy' person. Not great around slaves - but an asset at the dinner table. [b]- Spindly.[/b] Moves rather fast, but on long, fragile limbs with less than perfect control. [b]- Steady hands.[/b] Unusually steady hands. Makes for good precision. [b]- Substance tolerant.[/b] Hit them up! Again! They won't even notice. [b]- Uncultured.[/b] Basically a pretty boring person. [b]- Wild child.[/b] Born and raised in the wild.
