Red Steel: Mi-8 Helicopter

This mod contains all of the information your Colony requires to produce the ancient Mil Mi-8T transport helicopter, a relic of the Cold War and an icon of Russian aviation that is used by almost a hundred different countries in our modern world. It doesn't carry any armaments, but serves as an effective utility vehicles for transporting cargo or passengers, depending on what your circumstances require. Technical Information: FAQ: Q: Is this compatible with Combat Extended? A: As far as I'm aware, it should be compatible since the aircraft is unarmed. Q: WIll you make a version for Aerocraft Framework? A: It's very unlikely. Aerocraft Framework has compatability issues I'm not fond of, and since this aircraft is unarmed, it doesn't need to make use of the features that mod offers for aircraft. Q: Why does this require RimThunder? A: RimThunder is the mod series that provided the entire motivation for me to make this mod, and so my intentions out the door were for it to be able to be an addon that could fully integrate with the other mods that talented team made. Q: Will you make X? A: This is the first mod I have ever made for RimWorld. Right now, I honestly can't say if this will be a one off mod or if I will continue making more vehicles for this series of mods. Were I to continue, most of what is added to the series will likely consist of vehicles from Eastern Europe or other niche categories. Should the suggestion fall into that category, I might consider it. Credits: I would like to give credit to the team that creates RimThunder, their mods gave me the inspiration and motivation to try delving into the modding scene of this game when I have previously untouched it. Were it not for them, I doubt I would have taken the time and effort to create let alone publish my own mod for this game. The textures were lovingly handcrafted by myself over the span of a week, and I hope they are appreciated, but I have never been a professional 2D artist. My skills have always been with 3D art, and this is my first real foray into making anything like this.
