为丰富原版机械族的作战方式、技能以及一些功能性和难度等，此模组进行多方面的拓展，大多新的机械族都有其特色和优势区间等，这些机械族可以很好地丰富机械师玩法和机械族袭击的难度。
例如，你可以通过这个模组在游戏发展前期就可以组建出你的机械族军团，或者有更多后勤工作者。而大部分的战斗机械族也会在机械族袭击时出现并且以它们的独特方式进攻你的殖民地，以及其他高科技的派系在袭击到来时也会携带部分机械族。
当然，为了平衡此模组的机械族，我时常会对其中的部分数值进行调整和修改。
以及，为了丰富模组的内容，此模组不仅仅是对机械族的种类进行拓展，在一些科技建筑、植入体和武器等多方面也会进行增添。

To enrich the combat styles, skills, as well as some functionalities and difficulties of the original Mechanoids, this mod has carried out extensive expansions. Most of the new Mechanoids have their own characteristics and strength ranges. These Mechanoids can greatly enhance the gameplay for engineers and increase the challenge of Mechanoid raids.
For example, with this mod, you can assemble your own Mechanoid army in the early stages of the game, or have more logistics workers. Most combat Mechanoids will also appear during Mechanoid raids and attack your colony in their unique ways. Other high-tech factions may also bring some Mechanoids when they launch raids.
Of course, to balance the Mechanoids in this mod, I often adjust and modify some of their values.
