BACKGROUND
Built by Dougcraft Avionics since 1962, the P19C has proven itself as a reliable small-sized transport aircraft used by delivery services worldwide. Designed with semi-rugged landing capability, the P19C can operate from short and unprepared airstrips, making it ideal for remote and regional logistics. Its compact cargo bay accommodates one UniCon container, providing standardized and efficient freight handling. Powered by a single nose-mounted propeller driven by a supercharged 16-cylinder diesel engine, the aircraft delivers strong and dependable performance. The advanced cockpit is equipped with autopilot, flight stability systems, radio, and radar, supporting safe operations, while airspeeds exceeding 140 knots.
This particular unit is owned and operated by ALTA Industrial Corp., a company specializing in mining, oil drilling and transportation.
