K9-Omega: The terror of the Separatists!
At the mere mention of this name, chilling horror reigns in the ranks of the separatists. The Coalition ship, surpassing even the legendary Leviathan, is a walking fortress packed with cutting-edge technology. Composite armor, an automated gun loading system, and a furious barrage of fire from eight miniguns, six of which are relentless autocannons. The upgraded reactor guarantees autonomy, but the main thing is survivability. K9-Omega is the steel fist of the Coalition, whose main motto is: “Problem? I didn't hear it!”
Main Features:
Submarine Class: Assault Reconnaissance Ship
Recommended crew: 6-16 people (experience: veterans)
Price: 70,000 credits (excluding ammunition and upgrades)
The power system:
Advanced reactor: A computerized reactor with automatic power adjustment. (The setup instructions are in the logic block above the reactor).
6 improved batteries: Act as a buffer for the reactor, preventing overvoltage and providing stable power. The reactor is connected directly to the batteries, and the batteries are connected to the shields.
Armament:
Automatic miniguns: 6 auto-turrets, attack enemies in short bursts (5-15 seconds) followed by reloading.
Railgun: Automatic reloading (like the T-90), firing bursts (like the BMP-2).
Ultra-miniguns (2 pcs.): Low power consumption, but high consumption of cartridges.
Additional amenities:
The music system in the armory and the captain's bridge.
Fabricators with large built-in containers.
A medical fabricator in the “Dead Space" style.
Backup engines (2 pcs.).
Survivability:
Outer skin: 500 pieces of armor.
Interior walls: 250 armor units.
Minuses:
Long-term armor repair (1 minute or more).
High consumption of ammunition.
Low speed (20 km/h, can be increased in the campaign).
There is little potential for improvement (key systems have already been improved).
High price (can reach 100,000 credits, including upgrades and ammunition).
Is it worth buying?
If you are a Barotrauma veteran looking for a powerful and reliable ship capable of dealing with any threats, then K9-Omega is your choice!
Future plans:
In future updates, it is planned to expand the functionality of the computer.
The addition of a specialized room for monitoring the condition of the submarine and analog sonars (as in the Sardines submarine) is being considered.
Minor changes to the decor and improvements to existing systems are possible.
Setting up an improved reactor:
After purchasing the reactor upgrade at the outpost, it must be configured for optimal operation.
Find the logic block located above the reactor.
Open the “Memory Component".
The parameter is responsible for the base power generated by the reactor. Recommended value: ~200 (may need to be adjusted depending on the load). Reducing this value increases energy production, but it can also lead to overheating.
Component: "Search for reg. expressions"
The value “75" (by default) determines the degree of separation of the rods. Increasing this value increases the reactor's power, but it can lead to overheating and unstable operation. Reducing this value reduces the power, but makes the reactor more stable.

Plans and upcoming updates:
- Recycling is planned for Mark 2
- A quest chain related to K9-Omega Mark 1 will be added "Soon" (Note, so far the simplest ones are from vanilla)
- A Mark 3 or "Lost" version is planned (details in the "discord" Russian barotrauma)
= But, due to the circumstances in life, some ideas will not be implemented soon (except for quests)
