Updates
- Added a mod settings menu to control crafting chance. Default is 100%.
- Added a weapon customization menu that allows you to select traits from a pool of random traits and change the weapon's name. Disabled by default.

FAQ
Which weapons are covered?
- Vanilla has unique weapon variants for weapons that shoot projectiles such as rifles or pistols, but none for melee weapons. This mod doesn't add any new unique weapons to the game. It only reuses what vanilla offers and any other mods that you have installed that add unique weapons to the game.
Why can't you add unique weapons for the missing ones?
- In order to add a new unique weapon to the game, you have to create all-new textures for the item, and then manually define things like which weapon traits are even allowed to roll on it, plus a couple of other technical bits. I don't mind working with code but I am not a good artist so I unfortunately won't be able to add unique variants for the missing weapons in vanilla.
Compatible with modded weapons?
- The mod tries to scan for a unique variant of each weapon using the def name. Vanilla def naming convention is RegularWeaponDefName -> RegularWeaponDefName_Unique. Mods not following vanilla's convention will not be picked up by this mod. You can still patch them manually.
