#YAPR - yet another planet rendering!#
This requires the mod "visible planets in space" by Nauviax --> https://mods.factorio.com/mod/visible-planets
As a VFX artist, I had to take my shot at recreating the Factorio planets in HD. My focus was to represent the actually visible parts of the game map on a planet. That means no weird colors on Gleba and no Pentapod anus, and so on. I took some artistic liberties in some areas, but that is how it is.
I recommend setting the planet rotation to a very low value or turning it off altogether - I actually matched the light direction of the planets to the ingame sprites.

This mod REQUIRES the "visible planets in space settings" mod (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/visible-planets-settings), but I can't set it as a dependency. You need to select the appropriate planets in the "settings -> mod settings -> visible planets in space settings", as well as chose the resolution below. 4K recommended.
