This mod adds complexity to uranium processing. All steps based more or less on real processing procedures:
- Ore milling
- Mixing with water and sulfuric acid
- Extraction of ore from the host rock
- Chemical conversion of uranium oxides
- Production of liquid Uranium Hexafluoride
- Many steps of centrifuging or diffusion extraction of uranium
- Inverse transformation of uranium hexafluoride into oxides
- Production of nuclear fuel from oxides
- Metalisation of depleted uranium oxides
- PUREX process for plutonium extraction
- Nuclear waste
Real nuclear processing uses lots of chemicals, so I decided to depend on Krastorio this release so I can use their chemistry, metals, and buildings.
I slightly changed the balance in Krasotrio in terms of the energy density of nuclear cells and other nuclear products.
