NH "LongDog" Environment Agency oil spill respon
Overview
After an uprise of oil spills damaging the coastline of Sawyer, A more "permanent" solution was required. The NH LongDog uses 2 Jet engines and 2 Centrifuges to remove slurry from the oil spill it sucks.
How to use
*It is recommended to use this in HIGH PHYSICS SETTING! It can operate in low and medium but the sheer weight makes it collapse, and the vehicles towing it will struggle.*
*It is recommended that you have a truck tractor that can pull a mass of 11033 kilograms or more.*
1. Tow this with a truck tractor to the desired location.
2. Open the control panel, extend the supports and detach the trailer. (Vital so the jet engines don't blow it away!)
3. Enable the Jet engine and pull the throttle to max. It will stabilise at an RPS of 65.
4. Engage the clutches of RPS A or RPS B, both of which have a centrifuge connected.
5. Detach the hose sniffer from the trailer and place the sniffer inside a body of affected water.
It will start pumping (if the valve is open), and slurry will begin to accumulate inside the tank.
6. Once full, use the discharge pump to move the slurry elsewhere.
If the Jet fuel is beginning to be empty, open the fuel/electricity panel and pump in jet fuel from there. Or just respawn it! Same goes with electricity.
Guide to annunciator panel:
Fuel intake demand: Fuel is being taken in more than it should. Lower the throttle.
Centrifuge ineffective: Slurry is not being produced in the centrifuges, ensure that the sniffer is inside the affected water.
High RPS: The rps has exceeded the limit, which produces problems with torque. Lower the throttle.
Passive circulation enabled: If water is inside the tank, you can use the passive circulation to remove the water out of the tank.
Fuel/Electric source to external: The electricity or fuel source is from the outside of the trailer, not the tank itself.
