I’m Scott Summers AKA Cyclops, and this X-Gene package brings my signature concussive optic blasts straight to your RimWorld colony. Install it, train your squad, and try not to vaporize anything you actually care about.
What This Mod Does
• Cyclops Gene Injector
A single-use injector that rewrites a pawn’s DNA to match my optic ability. Works on humans… and yes, on animals too. Red-eyed war muffalos? That’s between you and your conscience.
• Optic Blast Ability
The injected pawn gains a precise, concussive beam attack.
Default profile:
Warmup: 1 second
Cooldown: 120 ticks
Damage: 25 concussive
AP: High, it’s a beam of force, not a flashlight.
• Crafting the Injector
Buildable at a Drug Lab once you’ve completed Fabrication and Medicine Production.
Recipe demands ultratech materials: spacer components, plasteel, gold, neutroamine, and glitterworld medicine.
Crafting skill required: 12.
Precision is important, trust me.
• Surgical Delivery
Use the injector directly or administer it via surgery.
Surgery requires anesthesia, Medicine 6, and steady hands.
Permanent effect. No take-backs.
• Adjustable Fire Discipline
Mod settings let you tune:
• Warmup
• Cooldown
• Damage
Reset to my recommended defaults at any time.

How to Deploy
1. Research & Craft
Complete the research and queue the Cyclops Gene Injector at a Drug Lab.
2. Apply the Gene
Perform surgery on your chosen operator or let them self-inject.
3. Configure
Use Mod Settings to dial warmup, cooldown, and damage to your doctrine.
4. Command & Control
Fire at enemies, obstructions, and strategic targets.
Remember: you still need line of sight. Don’t blast blind.
