【CA】Acceleration Torch 加速火把
You can play any game in Minecraft, and play Minecraft in any game!
This mod adds the Speed Torch structure, which multiplies various rates within its area of effect:
Work speed and research speed
Turret firing rate
Power generation/consumption
Plant growth speed
Maximum area size is 13x13, with a multiplier range from 1x to 1000x.
Regarding Performance Impact
Minimal. The torch works by intercepting and modifying the game's return values. Just avoid accelerating too many things at once.
In testing, noticeable lag occurred with over 14 torches and the area filled with deep drills. Placing one torch in workshops, research labs, farms, or power rooms is completely fine.
Regarding Compatibility
No critical errors (red errors) have been found so far. If you encounter any issues, please report them along with the error log (if any).
If you find something that cannot be accelerated or have any ideas, feel free to share.
Regarding the Mod Itself
The actual acceleration effect might be less than theoretically possible, but it's still significantly noticeable. Here's an analogy: I built a superhighway where cars drive extremely fast, but cars don't accelerate when entering or exiting the highway. Processes within the game are complex, and my current technique can't cover every single aspect.
