Justiciars of the Dark God
The Dark God beckons. Accept my embrace. Become a Justiciar.
The Dark God's Summary
I need suffering, pain, agony, death, and sacrifice. You mortals are very good at achieving all of those things. Do as I demand, and I will bestow upon you various blessings to help you cause more suffering and pain and death (or receive more suffering and pain and death, I really don't care).
The exchange is simple: Serve me well, and I will give you power. You do want power, yes? Of course you do. Every mortal wants power.
The Dark God's Benefits Plan
Hear my whispers, and I will call you Acolyte. Follow my decrees, and I will call you Justiciar. Serve my cause, and I will grant you strength. With strength comes permission to recruit new acolytes, wield my shadows, and to smite my foes. Fall in service to me, and another of the faithful may bid you rise from your unwilling slumber. As a justiciar, you will be my instrument of wrath...
What do you mean you want a feature list? Fine...
[list]
[*] An event to embark on the journey into darkness by randomly selecting a colonist to become an acolyte who may one day attain the rank of justiciar.
[*] The divine titles of Dark Lurker and Soul Hunter. These paths of my justiciars - call them "subclasses" only if you wish to fear your own shadow - may be followed by any acolyte found worthy of the rank.
[*] Unique abilities for justiciars. Some conjure darkness, while others permit crafting almost-identical copies of rare, exotic items out of pure shadow. Many abilities require favor, while some are locked to a path.
[*] A debilitating weakness to bright light and a love of darkness for the justiciars, because I am the Dark God and I say so. This manifests as an intense penalty if the justiciar is standing in a disgustingly bright spot and a GLORIOUS bonus if the justiciar is standing in a majestically and beautifully dark spot.
[*] A blatant disregard for the norms of how mortals handle their moods by completely altering how mental breaks and inspirations work for Justiciars: Mental breaks are now Ambitions which reward low mood by giving tasks to complete which boons and favor for completing while Inspirations are now horrible, no good, very bad things for Justiciars to have because them being inspired means being inspired to be more like me, and I am very not good.
[*] Some helpful learning helper tips on how to earn my favor, avoid my wrath, and explain various other details as I see fit. I do you hope you didn't turn off the learning helper... that would be quite unfortunate.
[*] Really this all just boils down to "Dark good; light bad."
[*] Oh, and I'll finish the feature list by saying that I am definitely not content with this list and it is going to expand. Like the bureaucracy of a bureaucratic nation expands to fulfill the needs of its own bureaucracy. A lot. It's going to be a lot.

The Dark God's Agenda
I have developed a great many plans. Because I am enigmatic and incomprehensible to mortal minds (and I have limited wordcount to work with here), I am going to post only titles of currently planned benefits plan expansions. Don't bother asking my loyal vassals about these plans - they will spew walls of text at you for days about all the ideas they have and you will find yourself drowning in feature creep. It's not healthy. That Killathon fool is especially prone to it.
Future releases (in no particular order and subject to change):

The Dark God's Conflicts
I have enemies. Many of them. Like that charlatan that pretends to be a god named Horax. Neither he nor any of them have any real power, though, so I'm not worried about it.
At the moment, I am not aware of any rivals - sorry, "mods" - that my great plans conflict with.
The Dark God's Miscellaneous Complaints, Proclamations, and Demands
My subjects are, as always, incompetent fools. They can barely achieve anything and take way too long to do the things that they are capable of. Maybe you are more competent than them.
If you are capable, I would offer my respects for:
[list]
[*] A mod icon, because seeing rivals - I mean, "mods" - on the loading screen with them while I have none is truly outrageous.
[*] Cooler looking Justiciar armor graphics, because my chosen deserve to look sleek and epic as they etch my name into the fabric of the feeble mortal world.
[*] Literally any styles for existing armor, because I want the entire mortal world to know of my glory, and the most obvious way to do that is to have a bunch of acolytes and justiciars looking glorious. Why not have specific styles for already existing armor so that mortals know when my cannon fodder - I mean... faithful devotees... approach?
[*] Art assets to be used for weaponry, because I am the Dark God, and I will of course demand my devotees establish their own unique arsenal.
[*] Ideas, because while I am a source of infinite ideas, I am admittedly a little new to this whole "culture" thing that mortals obsess over and growing a cult isn't easy.

The Dark God's Respects

[*] Aelanna - Decided not to suffer the existence of placeholder art for abilities and generously provided two icons for Conjure Darkness and Shadestep. I am grateful for this.
