Caves of Qud Tier 1 introduces the earliest cybernetics of the Eaters of a distant world.
An abandoned seed ship drifted into the outer system with its vaults cracked open and its archives half corrupted. Inside were fragments of low tier Eater technology. Scavengers pulled what they could. Colonists have learned to copy the simplest implants. Everything else is still beyond them.
These devices are weak by the standards of the Eaters but powerful by the standards of frontier surgery. They give pawns new senses, new stances, accuracy tools, movement enhancers, and minor battlefield abilities without breaking balance. Every implant is crafted with simple materials and a focus on interesting play, not power creep.
Adds a new Research Tab which contains a growing Tech Tree in unlocking the technology of the Eaters.
This mod is the first step in a growing cybernetics line. Tier 1 is about small, practical upgrades. Higher tiers are planned and will build on these ideas.

Neural fatigue replaces the license cost used by COQ cybernetics. The old corporate bureaucracy never made it to the Rim, and the biology of Rimworld humans has drifted far from their post human Eater cousins. What was once regulated through software locks and legal permissions is now limited only by how much strain a brain can endure.

Tier 1 Cybernetics are meant to bridge the gap between Industrial Prosthetics and Spacer Bionics. Their aim is to provide utility over flat bonuses. These are rough translations of cybernetics from COQ and were balanced for Rimworld after a week of testing and improving.
Tier 1 Cybernetics are unlocked after completing research of the same name in the Cybernetics of Qud Research Tab. It requires Microelectronics researched before it becomes available.
All Tier 1 Cybernetics can be crafted from the Fabrication Bench.
