Dynamic Raid Difficulty
Raids can be smaller. Raids can be bigger. Still vanilla… just with range.
What this mod does
The game and your storyteller first pick the normal raid strength.
This mod then changes it to somewhere between your minimum % and maximum %.
Example:
Normal raid = 1000 points
You set 50%–150% → this raid will be between 500 and 1500 points.
Settings
Two sliders:
Minimum raid strength (%) – 1%–100%
How much easier a raid can be than normal.
Maximum raid strength (%) – 100%–500%
How much harder a raid can be than normal.
You can choose what is affected:
Enemy raids
Mech clusters
Infestations
Manhunter packs
Tick = use the sliders.
Untick = keep vanilla.
Optional:
Enable uncapped raids
Off: respect the normal RimWorld raid cap.
On: raids can go above the usual cap.
Enable debug logging
Writes a short line in the log with normal and final raid strength (for testing / bug reports).
Compatibility
Works with all storytellers (Cassandra, Phoebe, Randy, custom).
Works with other mods that change threat points. They do their thing first; this mod only scales the final number.
Uses a small Harmony patch. No new items, pawns or defs.
Should be safe to add to existing saves.
How to use
Install and enable the mod.
Open Mod Settings → Dynamic Raid Difficulty.
Set your minimum and maximum % (for example 50%–150%).
Choose which threats are affected.
Play and enjoy more varied raids.
