Tenacious Class - Light Aircraft Carrier

This is my second large project. Since it is an aircraft carrier, operating certain aspects can get quite complicated. Please read the full instructions in the description so you know how to use this vessel. If you find any bugs or issues, please leave a comment and I will try to address it. Thanks for stopping by! IMPORTANT: It is very important that you ALWAYS bundle up the aircraft propellers when they are in the hangar. This is the only way I could find to prevent the planes from spontaneously combusting whenever you go out of loading range. It features a full interior, a high top speed of 26 knots, powerful anti air armament, and the capability to support 3 heavily armed naval aircraft. It is also pretty hard to sink due to the overcomplicated system of bilge pumps. The ship is powered by a diesel burning steam engine, so fuel usage is efficient and you don't have to worry about the process getting coal. Overall, despite its small size, the Tenacious Class is a capable platform for launching and landing aircraft. Specifications (when fully loaded with aircraft) -Speed: 26 Knots -Length: 64.75 Meters -Beam (hull): 14.25 Meters -Flight Deck Width: 18.75 Meters -Cost: $677,162 -Mass: ~152,000 units Armament

2x 8 Inch Cannon (right side)
4x Quad 40mm AA guns
Aircraft:

1x FB-12N Excalibur -4x Medium Bomb -6x 12.7mm Gun -6x 20mm Gun -32x Unguided Rocket
 2x FB-6N Shortsword -4x 20mm Gun -4x 12.7mm Gun -24x Unguided Rocket
Operation Fairly straightforward, but gets complicated when the aircraft come into play. Engine Startup

Find your way to the boiler room. It is in the lowest level.
Turn the keys on both boilers to ignite them, then head up to the bridge
Wait for the boiler temperature to pass 100 degrees
Use WASD to move the ship.
Operating the cannons

Sit in the seat on the turret. Use WASD to aim the gun. Press space to fire only when the light turns green.
You can activate the spotlight to see in the dark.
The laser, when activated, will automatically adjust the pitch of the gun for whatever range you are hitting. This isn't the best system but it allows you to hit targets ~1km away and maybe farther.
Anti Air

Sit in the turret seat for the AA guns. Use WASD to aim. Space to fire.
Spotlight and laser are for assisting your aiming and don't do anything else.
No need to worry about reloading, the whole ammo reserve is connected to the AA.
Aircraft Operation This just explains how to prepare, launch, and land the planes. Flying is pretty straightforward but there will be instructions in each aircraft's respective workshop page. It may take some practice in a custom save to perfectly nail these procedures down but they are pretty easy once you know how to do them. Preparing the Aircraft IMPORTANT: when undergoing any operations involving the planes it is highly advised that you slow the ship to under 15 knots. This prevents a whole lot of issues. The example aircraft used is the FB-12N, but these steps work for the FB-6N, too. The only difference is the placement of buttons.

Head to the aircraft elevator. It is pretty easy to make it out because of the gray frame.
There is a small panel on the right side, with 3 buttons to move and lock the elevator. Hold the "Elevator Down" button until you are at the bottom of the hangar.
Manually disconnect the electrical cable from whatever plane you are going to launch
Hop into the cockpit of that plane and click the "detach all ropes" button. This is much faster then doing it manually.
Once the plane is fully untethered, connect both winches on the elevator platform to both of the rope anchors on the tail wings of the plane. retract them using the "winch up" buttons on both winches until the plane is fully on the platform.
If you did the last few steps correctly, then you should be able to move the plane up to the deck. To do this, hold down the "Elevator up" button on the panel. Once you are back up to the flight deck remember to click the "Lock Elevator" button. Detach the plane from the winches if you have not already. If you do not plan to launch the plane immediately then use ropes to fasten it to the flight deck to prevent sliding. If you need to, you can refuel the planes and replenish their charge by using the ropes and cables from the little box labelled "DIESEL." At this point the plane will be ready to launch.
Launching the Aircraft This is a very time critical process. A lot of steps have to be executed in a small amount of time. I advise practicing this a bit.

Make sure the aircraft is properly aligned for launch. I strongly recommend that you angle the aircraft slightly to the right to prevent it hitting the superstructure during takeoff. Once this is done you can unbundle the propellers. (ALWAYS bundle propellers when the planes are in the hangar)
Climb into the cockpit and flip the power breaker on the left to the ON position. Then, press the "Fold/unfold wings" button so that the wings are unfolded. Turn on all the aircraft lights that you want to turn on. Close the canopy if you want.
Click the "detach all ropes" button, if you have ropes attached. This is when timing gets critical!
In rapid succession, Click the "starter" button, wait for ~1 second so the engine hits 2 rps (you will hear it), and then quickly deactivate the brakes and throttle up using arrow keys. The aircraft will quickly accelerate. At this point. Hold down the S key like your life depends on it, and if the plane was aligned right, you should go flying off the ramp!
Landing on the Carrier This is by far the hardest part to get good at. I promise it gets easier with practice!

Fly your aircraft a couple kilometers behind the carrier and get lined up with the runway as best as possible. You can use the exhaust smoke as a sort of beacon. Once you are perfectly lined up, decrease throttle to ~0.50 or as low as you can get it while not stalling.
Deploy the landing gear, and deploy the arresting hook using the button labeled "Deploy Arresting Gear." Remain at the lowest throttle you can fly at.
Fly low behind the carrier deck, and cut throttle once you are almost over it. If you timed it right, then the plane will sort of fall onto the deck. do your best to keep the tail down so that the arresting gear attaches to one of the attachment points. When the hook attaches to the deck there may be some violent lurching but usually it's not a problem. Congrats, you have landed on the carrier!
Once you are landed you can move the aircraft back into takeoff position and/or refuel it.
