Wolfenstein – GT Prisoner Transport

Wolfenstein – GT Prisoner Transport (Stormworks Recreation) This is a recreation of the GT (Gefangenentransport) prisoner transport seen in Wolfenstein: The New Order, most notably during the Eisenwald Prison sequence. The GT is a van-sized transport used for routine prisoner transfers between local holding facilities and larger prisons. Vehicles of this type were commonly assigned to police departments and prison administrations, moving prisoners after processing and sentencing. They operated on short routes, made frequent stops, and were rotated through service as needed. Development of the GT transport is attributed to Oberingenieur Karl Heßler, a civil vehicle designer working under Reich interior logistics contracts in the early years of the regime. Heßler’s work focused on adapting existing commercial vehicle platforms for government use, prioritizing standardized parts, simple operation, and ease of maintenance. The GT transport followed this approach, sharing components with other utility vehicles while being refitted internally for prisoner movement. Individual vehicles were marked only with fleet numbers and assigned regionally. Units were transferred, repaired, or replaced without ceremony, forming part of a wider transportation network that connected local jails, administrative centers, and permanent prison facilities. This Stormworks build recreates the vehicle’s appearance and layout as seen in-game, with attention to scale, proportions, and interior arrangement. The vehicle is fully drivable and features a functional interior and access points, making it suitable for roleplay, transport scenarios, or cinematic use within Stormworks. Features: Fully drivable Functional doors and interior Accurate exterior shape and scale Suitable for general gameplay and immersion Fan-made recreation for Stormworks: Build and Rescue.
