MORAY Amphbibious Torpedo Bomber [SAR CAPABLE]
'Moray' Torpedo bomber
This is the Moray, a WWII Era, twin engine torpedo bomber seaplane I designed as a challenge to myself to design a glitch-less seaplane with no unrealistic techniques such as cyclic props or buoyancy bugs, as a result it handles slightly worse than my usual standard, but is still very easily flyable, provided you learn how to operate it properly.
This project stared a few years ago as a SAR aircraft, (some original SAR systems are still installed and functional), but I shifted its role to a military one when i returned to revamp the original prototype. It has a slightly unorthodox prop pitch system, which is admittedly a little clunky to use compared to my more recent designs.
I have plans to restore this aircraft's original SAR role in the future under the original `Crocco` Name, so look out for that if you like this aircraft!

Top Speed:76M/s = 170.0 mph = 147.7 knts

6x Forward firing machine guns
6x Defensive rearwards-firing mg's on two remote-controlled turrets.

Instructions:

Engine start:
1) Check the prop pitch = 0
2) Set both magnetos switches, alternators, and coolant pumps to ON using the ceiling control panel
3) Press each primer button 3x for each engine
4) Set throttle to around 50%
5) Hold each engine's starter Until RPS = 4

Controls:
This aircraft is equipped with 2 modes (Mode 1 and Mode 2), each mode has a different control layout, e.g, mode 2 wasd = prop pitch and yaw controls vs mode 2 = wasd = pitch and yaw controls.
The toggle button to change modes depending on the pilots preference can be found in the middle of the main control panel.
I recommend doing a quick control check before take-off to ensure you have the correct mode selected.
NOTE: CHANGING MODES MID-FLIGHT WILL CAUSE THROTTLE TO RESET TO ZERO

Taxiing:
1) always check prop pitch = 0, and press 4 to unfeather the props
2) now, with throttle around 25%, you can use the throttle lever above you to slowly increase the prop pitch to 100% to start moving forward slowly.
3) once you are moving, I recommend using throttle (Not prop pitch) for precise speed control, and pressing 4 to feather the props whenever you need to stop.
> WATER Taxi: For turning whilst on the water, you must use differential thrust (Toggle switch situated in the middle of the main instrument panel)
From that point, make sure the pontoons are deployed and landing gear is retracted (Panel with green indicator lights next to copilot seat)
To move forwards, increase the prop pitch, and turn with yaw.
> LAND Taxi: The aircraft will always spawn in water configuration, so first you must deploy the landing gear and retract the pontoons (landing gear Panel with green indicator lights next to copilot seat)
Using yaw will automatically turn the tail wheel, however if you want to turn on the spot you may use differential thrust too (See water taxi).

LAND Take-off:
1) Once you are ready for take-off, Feather props [Num 4] and set pitch to 100% while throttle is around 25%
2) Next, un-feather the props and begin to slowly increase throttle to accelerate, whilst holding full up elevator (BE VERY GENTLE AS TO AVOID HITTING THE NOSE ON THE GROUND)
3) You should naturally rotate and climb.
4) Once in the air, Set prop pitch to 100% and use throttle to control speed (Optionally enable cruise mode to trade torque for efficiency)

WATER Take-off:
NOTE: Taking off whilst fully loaded with all 6 torpedoes will be slightly harder than without, and as a result your run will be significantly longer.
1) Once you are ready for take-off, Feather props [Num 4] and set pitch to 100% while throttle is around 25%
2) un-feather the props and set throttle to 100%, the aircraft should plane across the water.
4) When your speed is 30m/s, you should pull up to rotate and climb off the water. (NOTE: fully loaded with all 6 torpedoes, you will need to break the surface tension at 26m/s by rapidly tapping the elevator)

Weapon sys:
Torpedoes: Arm, deploy, and fire from the co-pilot seat.
I recommend using the altitude hold and auto-level to get as low as possible for the best launch.
FWD Mg's: Fire using [SPACEBAR] From pilots seat (can be reloaded from inside the nose)
Rear Mg's: controlled by red control handle in the bomb bay. (First open the hatch over it before using it as it swings out the hatch)
Happy Flying!
