Shuttle Start for Rich Explorer
This patch mod exchanges the Rich Explorer scenario's drop pod approach with a start that has the explorer standing expectantly near their shuttle after exhausting its fuel to reach the location. Nothing else in the Rich Explorer scenario is altered by this mod. For the most exemplary exploratory experience, I exhort you to start near ancient buildings to extract chemfuel expediently to begin your exploits.
It was brought to my attention that the way scenarios work was causing shuttles to not be considered the player's shuttle. To counter this, I made the shuttle claimable by the player. This could have unforeseen side effects, but I didn't personally encounter any issues when I tested it.
If you want to use the shuttle in your own scenario through the in-game editor, you will unfortunately have to build off of this scenario to have the shuttle. What I'm doing in this mod is basically just tricking Rimworld's code into not doing the check to see if the shuttle can be added via scenario parts, but I don't do anything to the check itself so the shuttle is still normally banned.
