Timber Tank

THE TIMBER TANK (Fictional) What's the best way to surprise the enemy? Easy! just hide a tank where nobody expects a tank to be? how do you hide a tank? simple! A tank! Okay that was stupid, buts so is this build so we're just gonna roll with it. This abhorrent vehicle composed of oak n' steel is another example of what the pile of grayish noodles packed inside my skull likes to spontaneously cook up every once in a while. timberclad, steam-driven, guns a-blazin' and stupid-lookin. Have fun with it I suppose and try not to slam the brakes at the wrong time SPECIFICATIONS LENGTH: 11.25ish?? Meters WIDTH: 6.25 Meters HEIGHT: like 8 Meters I think TOP SPEED: 32 MPH apparently FUEL CAPACITY: Precisely 500 units of coal, vaguely a lo' a' wo'ah FEATURES -Timber -Tank (gun) -Tank (water) -Tank (Turret body) -Tank (boiler) -Raisable ladder thing -Levers that visibly lever -Detailed (or just plain messy?) interior -Steam -Engine HOW TO START/OPERATE Note: ideally operated with 2 players 1. DOWN THE HATCH Dos. Fill up the firebox with coal 3. Light boiler 4. Wait for the steam to do steamy things 5. Raise the ladder so no extra rats get in VI. Break the parking brake 7. GO GO GO Vehicle operation and gun operation are completely separate. You can't do both at once unless you're duel-wielding computers EXTRA NOTES This was actually built a few months ago and uploaded as a friends-only build. Silly steam didn't properly set the visibility status the first time around so it was fully public for a few hours, so some of you might've already seen it. There's no way to refuel this thing, so once you're out of juice you're just a stationary turret. If you slam the parking brake on while going full speed you'll tip it over. As long as the gun's pointing directly forwards and not angled too high it'll catch it and put it back on its tracks Guide to building paddle wheels: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3329559951 Discord server for seeing how new builds are coming along, hanging out, sharing builds, memes, and ship's plans, and participate in build challenges! :D https://discord.gg/7Z2VWqvDwq I've already noted this a while ago in my discord server, but I'll mention it here too for everyone else. Artemis and Apollo weren't the only reason I've barely been uploading for a while. This year's been pretty hard on me. I don't want to go into details, but what's relevant here is that I'm now no longer able to dedicate nearly as much time to Stormworks as I used to. I do intend to keep building and uploading stuff, however the uploads won't be as frequent, and builds won't be as large. I want to do more smaller builds like these are so I can at least put out new stuff at a somewhat decent rate, instead of focusing all of my limited free time to a single massive project. I hope you're all okay with that, as I really don't have any other choice. Merry Christmas, and happy new year <3
