Vanguard Transmission Test Updated
In progress build of Instrument panel gearbox and clutch controller.
For Twin Engines ONLY
Requirements per side:
1x Modular Engine
6x Gearboxes
1x Instrument Panel
- CH1-Arrow Up
- CH2-Arrow Down
- CH3-Flip Reverse
- CH4-7 Segment
1x Toggle for Neutral
1x Keyboard
- A goes to ECU
- B to Transmission Controller
- Use a number between 0 and 10
Connect the dots in order, Reverse is gearbox closest to the bow.
DO NOT CONNECT GEAR 1
- Gear 1 is direct drive from engine when clutch is engaged. I placed a node because it didn't look right to skip from neutral to 2nd.
Unlike other transmissions, this will activate ALL boxes when in highest gear. Reverse will function while 2-6 are active. Do be careful selecting ratios, an extremely meaty 5x5 engine is required to function past gear 3. Even selecting 3/2 for 2-6 results in a 243/32 ratio. 5 RPS becomes 37.9, and 10 becomes 75.9
