The Advanced Short-Range Apex-Surfaced launched is a short-range air defense system which could also be used as a transporter erector launcher(TEL) for the SkyWizard MMVADs. It can operate alone but it's effectives would double if used with a SkyWizard(TADS). Its chassis is based on the E-32 Stanley truck combined with a trailer.
In a normal independent SHORAD mode, it's missiles only reaches 3.2KM and has no datalink, it works like a regular fire and forget missile, but when during TADS slaving, it's range becomes 20KM and can use datalink and it's maneuverability allows it to turn back, and the missiles have a smokeless motor making it hard to visualize the missile. The missile also has semi anti chaff resistance.
The missiles was made to pull very hard like a HOBS missile due to its requirements as a dogfighting missile (eg it can track targets behind attempting to pursue the launcher aircraft) and is semi-chaff resistant for this purpose.
The trailer of the SHORAD contains a reloadable magazine, extra batteries, and equipment for the system.
ASRAPEX-SL(TEL)
The ASRAPEX-SL(TEL) is used against short range blind spots that normal SkyWizard VLS launchers cannot shoot against. The launcher has 4 missiles loaded and 4 more for reloading.
8x ASRAPEX-M(Fully self-homing ARH + Datalink + Inertial Guidance)
The ASRAPEX-M is used for short range maneuverable targets. 3.2KM range without datalink guidance, 20KM range with datalink guidance, 532M/S speed, unlike other missiles of the SkyWizard system, the ASRAPEX-M cannot use multi track which disallows the individual missiles to track 2 or more targets at once.
