juc - Gene Assembler Visualizer
Adds a live side panel to the Gene Assembler (create xenogerm) screen so you can see the target pawn’s stats, traits, and genes while you pick genepacks—without memorizing numbers or swapping windows. A separate tweak improves Gene Extractor tooltips when inserting a person into the harness.
Gene Assembler
- Pawn dropdown — Select any eligible pawn from the assembler; warns when the xenogerm would replace an existing custom xenotype label.
- Side preview window — Stays open beside the assembler; shows name, germline vs xenotype label, age, sex, and traits with color cues: traits from current genes (gene-colored where applicable), traits that would be removed or suppressed by selected xenogenes, and traits that would be added by selected xenogenes. Tooltips use the same text as vanilla (including correct {PAWN_*} name/pronoun resolution for traits not yet on the pawn).
- Skills — Two-column list with passion icons; preview level after applying the simulated xenogerm, with per-skill tooltips (original vs estimated).
- Germline genes — List from the simulation; if the pawn has xenogenes, a second list shows genes that would be replaced under the current xenotype label, with metabolic/complexity tooltips.
- Summary — Final metabolic efficiency, xenogerm complexity, and archite capsule count from the current selection.
- Metabolic line — Inline “Final Metabolic Efficiency” near the pawn selector, with tooltip on which germline genes would be overwritten.
- Live updates — Preview refreshes as genepacks are added or removed.
- Dedupe — Button beside “Assemble genes” to clean duplicate genepacks in connected gene banks and drop redundant multi-gene packs when singles already cover every gene (does not cover Save/Load template).
Gene Extractor
- Insert person — Hovering a pawn in the float menu lists which germline/xenotype genes still lack a matching single-gene genepack in a gene bank on the map (multi-gene packs are not counted for that check).
