Have you ever seen a faction mod that doesn't include any factions? If not, then congratulations, this will be the first faction mod without any factions that you've ever seen!
Although it wasn't my original intention, the Ratkin flare will sweep across the world, and all Ratkins and Ratkin-related things will disappear. Please don't be disheartened, because new Ratkins will descend upon the world full of light.

This mod is an expansion mod for Ratkin and VFEMedieval2 and only covers part of the content. Due to various reasons, some content is being released now. This mod will remain without factions and faction-related mechanics. If the faction part is completed, it will be released as a new mod.

Following the collapse of the old Ratkin empire, aside from the Ratkin kingdom founded by those weary of conflict and war, numerous other Ratkin factions emerged. These groups often proved far more isolationist than the Ratkin kingdom, which maintained connections with the outside world. As a result, their technological advancement lagged behind. They caught only a glimpse of the secrets of gunpowder from a medieval historical pamphlet left behind in an abandoned missionary outpost once occupied by human.
Chapter 1: Broken Union
In response to invasions and annexations by other Ratkin tribes, a coalition was formed by some of the weaker city-states. Over time, however, the Ratkin city-state union grew less united than it once was, with constant internal conflicts among its members. Where would the future of the union lead?
