I finally decided to try my hand at making a plane, and this was the result.
This small twin-engined beast can accelerate to 200 km/h from rest in seconds, allowing for a very short take-off distance.
At the main island hangar "ONeill Airport" I was able to take-off by holding "S" and maxing out the prop collective at the same time before I even passed the taxi lane. It cruises at around 201 km/h and is relatively stable, though not perfect.
For a first attempt ever, I think it turned out nicely.
It flies, it can probably land, but I'm not very good at flying so I haven't been able to get a soft landing.
Next up I will be trying to make a submarine, just to see what else I can make if I try.
Update: It can absolutely land, I'm just not very good at flying.
