The Scavenger is a new Job (Class) designed with away missions in mind.
Some talents (such as the primary talents) are just duplicates of those from existing classes, but do include new ones, such as Recipe unlocks for new items.
Items include some combined equipment, such as the All in one Handheld Monitor (made from the Status monitor, Electrical monitor and Item finder from the Mechanic, Engineer and Apprentice jobs), or a Scooter with built in Sonar scanner. A new diving suit that is a PUCS alternative, and Incendium ammo for pistol and SMG.
The 3 skill trees are as follows.
Xenoarchaeology: It's basically a restoration of the old Medic Xenology tree, with bonuses for finding and breaking down alien artifacts.
Scrounger: It's all about the scrap, most skills are about finding or recycling scrap. It includes a restoration of the recipes to craft Alien materials from scrap.
Expedition: This includes a lot of the recipe unlocks. It also includes a lot of bonuses, some that only work while you're onside of your submarine. The final talent includes a short range party buff when you're not onboard the submarine. The captain may be in charge on your ship, but you're in charge of the away missions!
It includes a few small reworks to existing talents.

Client side LUA is required for this class to show up for sale at the personnel vendor.
Client side LUA will also dynamically add spawn points based on Mechanic spawn points for the Job on the ship if none exist.
