The First-Generation Continental Commodore
The all-new Continental Commodore C10 is the newest, and most versatile pickup truck to hit the market. Designed from the ground-up to be the most reliable, cost-effective and dependable platform in the midsize pickup market today. While not exceedingly fuel-efficient or powerful, our Commodores are built to last.
This particular model is equipped with Continental's formidable 440C Jetstream engine, which utilizes a port induction manifold and electric radiator for maximum on-road and off-road performance. Paired to the output shaft is the all-new Powerglide three-speed planetary transmission, which uses no clutch pedal to engage or disengage the wheels. A torque converter has been built into the design of this truck to allow anywhere from crawl speeds to wide-open throttle with no effort from the driver, and under regular conditions it is impossible to stall.
